I am delighted to announce that our gorgeous, third generation goldie girl, Honey (Sunflicker Easter Sunshine) has given birth to a fabulous litter of dark gold, healthy puppies. The sire of the litter is Aglabs Golden Goose of Fallowfen (Goose). The pedigree of this carefully planned litter contains superb, established working lines featuring many famous, successful kennels. Sunflicker golden retriever puppies are the sought-after dark gold colour, typical of the traditional working lines.

With a lifetime of dog ownership and breeding, I am passionate about my dogs and puppies with their health and welfare central to my life and of paramount importance in my breedline. Therefore, both Honey and Goose are extensively health tested. They have 100% perfect DNA clearances, are 100% 'unaffected' for eye disease and have a gonioscopy grade of 0, which is perfect. Hips are exceptionally low (Goose boasts hips of 0:2, virtually unheard of in goldens) and both have 0:0 elbows, again, perfect. These exceptional results ensure that your puppy will not develop any of the listed conditions and diseases affecting the breed, saving you potential heartache and considerable financial outlay for veterinary treatment in the future. The Sunflicker line is healthy; it is proving to have great longevity, which is sadly no longer the case in many of today's lines.
About the dam: The Sunflicker line has a therapy background and this shines through in our girls. Honey is an incredibly beautiful girl with stunning looks, a shiny, dark gold coat, intelligence and a kind, biddable temperament. She is lots of fun, bouncy and playful, with a gentle, loving demeanour. Honey was bred by me and was the pick of many fabulous bitch puppies; she has more than lived up to expectations, being my pride and joy. She lives as an adored pet in our busy family home with my children, other dogs and animals.
About the sire: Goose is an especially eye-catching young working dog with a rich, deep russet gold coat and perfect conformation and movement as expected of the gundog lines. He has loads of personality whilst possessing the loyal, biddable temperament typical of this wonderful breed. This litter, our 10th, celebrates ten years of Sunflicker Gundogs and is a culmination of years of hard work and dedication, my primary aim always being to produce supremely healthy, beautiful and kind-natured dogs, suitable for active, working, therapy or simply companion roles within a family. Our puppies are uniquely reared in bespoke facilities in the warmth of our family home. Unlike the majority of working lines puppies, Sunflicker puppies are born inside our home and are exclusively cared for inside our home until the moment they leave us.
We believe that a puppy destined to live with a family should do so from birth if it is to become a well balanced dog in the future. Similarly, as they are with us all the time, they are able to be handled constantly from birth with a programme of socialisation, and will be well-accustomed to children, other animals and household noises. Visitors regularly comment on how completely relaxed and confident our puppies are when handled and we are proud of this. The puppies will be KC registered with a five generation, contract, original pedigree certificate and paperwork. Each puppy will be correctly wormed, microchipped and vet checked before leaving us. Our puppies come with an extensive puppy pack, including food, a toy, smelly blanket, my Sunflicker training guide, a useful book and five weeks' free KC insurance. In addition, my experience enables me to offer real, useful advice and lifetime support to my owners on all aspects of the care and also initial training of your puppy. You will also have the benefit of joining our owners group (many of whom have returned for another puppy) to share your experiences and pictures with other Sunflicker 'parents'. I am proud that my owners always say how involved they felt in their puppy’s progress from the very beginning, and we have many, many, happy, healthy puppies all over Britain about whom we love to receive regular updates!

At Sunflicker, though we breed usually only two litters a year, our dogs are central to us and our sole occupation; quite simply, this is what we do! These exceptional puppies will only be sold to the very best homes, which I am satisfied can provide them with the care and dedication that they need to thrive and grow into wonderful adult dogs.
