I am also a Kennel Club Assured Breeder with many years of experience, having bred golden retrievers and flat-coated retrievers, and previously border collies, over a lifetime of dog ownership. I am passionate about my dogs, with the welfare of my dogs and puppies central to my life.
I am delighted to announce that our gorgeous girl, Magic (Jarvo Magic Heart of Sunflicker) has given birth to an exceptional litter of both black and liver puppies. The sire of the litter is Levliann Waited For You (Griff), whose grandfather is none other than the famous championship winner, Baxer (Almanza Back Seat Driver), Best In Show at Crufts 2022. The pedigree of this litter contains no fewer than 29 champions, so, together with the additional excellent working kennels on the dam’s side, you can be assured of the quality of these puppies.
Both parents are health tested with gonioscopy grade 0 and excellent, extremely low, hip scores, with Magic also achieving 0:0 elbows. Magic comes from superb, established working lines, featuring many famous gundog kennels in her pedigree. Griff is from Swedish championship show lines, heavily featuring of course, the famous Almanza kennel.
Magic is an incredibly beautiful girl with stunning looks, a shiny, black, mirror shine coat, intelligence and a kind, biddable temperament. She is lots of fun, bouncy and playful. She lives as an adored pet in our busy family home with my children, other dogs and animals.
Griff is an especially eye-catching young dog, who is showing great potential in the show ring, having competed at Crufts this year. He is the correct, rich, deep liver colour, with perfect conformation and movement as expected of the breed standard. Griff has loads of personality, whilst being exceptionally calm for his age; he possesses the perfect, loyal, kind temperament typical of this wonderful breed. This fantastic litter includes a mixture of boys and girls, of black and also the sought-after liver coloured puppies. They will grow up to become highly intelligent, gentle, loyal and energetic dogs - perfect for an active family. They are being reared in bespoke facilities in the warmth of our family home, handled on a daily basis with a programme of socialisation, and are accustomed to children, other animals and household noises. They are KC registered with a five generation pedigree plus original certificate and paperwork. Each puppy is undergoing a programme of worming and will be veterinary health checked with a certificate. They will be microchipped, and come with an extensive puppy pack, including food, a toy, smelly blanket, a training guide, book and several weeks' free insurance. The inbreeding coefficient of this litter is the lowest I’ve ever seen at 0.2%
In addition, as experienced dog owners and breeders, Sunflicker Gundogs offer and provide lifetime support and advice if needed.
