Angel, Rosanbeth's Maggies Pearl of Sunflicker, is the gorgeous girl that started my passion for the golden retriever. Glamorously known in the breeding world as the 'foundation bitch' of my line, I strive to carry on her countless wonderful qualities in the puppies I breed. Ever gentle, sweet, biddable and affectionate, Angel has been my rock and my friend, and her many puppies out there, all over Britain, are testament to how exceptional this lovely girl is.

Angel worked for many years with me, as a therapy dog, in the Education Health Needs Team in County Durham. She was known and loved in schools, family centres and wherever we went, and her ability to sooth and give anxious, unwell children the confidence to access help and education was astounding.

A wise, steady role model for our youngsters, Angel is still as fit as a flea with no health or mobility issues. She still goes out daily and just about keeps up with the other Sunflicker pack members- a testament to the Sunflicker genes.

Now an old lady, Angel is enjoying a life of leisure. She is a special girl with a special place in our family.
