Fanconi Syndrome

Fanconi syndrome is a condition in which the proximal renal tubules of the kidney do not properly reabsorb electrolytes and nutrients back into the body. Symptoms include excessive drinking, urination and glucose in the urine. Untreated Fanconi will mean that the dogs general condition will deteriorate, muscles will waste etc.
