Best Veteran Bitch

This was Aoife's last General Championship show, and although she may still come out in Special Veteran (10+ years) classes at GR Breed Club shows, she retired in style. This was the first time she had been placed 1st when there were others in the class, and the only time she has been in a Bitch Challenge line-up. Always quite difficult to handle (she has been naughty in the show ring since she started her show career at a day over 6 months!), she didn't have time to get bored, and moved beautifully - which made me very proud!

Judge Martin Greenwood said
"Mid gold bitch, balanced outline, soft expression with dark eye, moderate reach of neck into nice lay of shoulder, good angles, nice round feet, in good coat & condition, carried topline well on the move".

In his final sentence on the 2nd place exhibit, he also commented that 2nd place:
"… movement just not as good as 1".
