Freya (Bryanstown Aine for O) was a happy, loyal and faithful bitch who lived life to the full; she became our 2nd foundation bitch in 1997 with the arrival of her 1st litter by Mr P D Hambling's Horham Barraband, and it is from this mating that all our current Overdenes (and Dirnaneans and Kindrogans) are descended. Only lightly shown as a youngster, Freya proved to be a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother, but as she grew older, the biggest love of her life was swimming - something she did for what turned out to be the last time just 2 days before her unexpected death. Freya was my almost constant companion for over 12 years, and her passing left an enormous gap, despite leaving behind a daughter, two granddaughters and two great-granddaughters living with us, and five other descendants within our family.
