This was Rowan's only Open Show outing this year and his first outing since Crufts 2009. He was highly delighted to be at a dog show and stormed around the ring in his classes, proving that Veterans really can move. He has spent most Saturdays this season picking up on a shoot, which keeps him fit. Millennium baby Rowan is 9 years old on 5th January 2009.

His grandson Tenfield Commanche Run at his very first show, missed his breed class but was placed 2nd in Monor Puppy Dog - gving a very good account of himself in a nice class. Rowan's great grandson was also there and was placed 4th in Golden Retriever Puppy also aged just 6 months.
