*** Rebel moved out in February 2022 and went to live with Edith (Sparkle and Rolo's sister) and almost 14 year old Walter, along with Joan and Pete Inns who live near Durham). Rebel is Tenfield number six for them, it started with Fergus from my very first litter in 1989. Rebel is having the most fantastic time travelling all over the country in their motorhome and spending much of her time in rivers, lakes, ponds, the sea and muddy puddles! ***

I really should have kept one of the girls from Kola's first litter, when I wanted a girl from her second litter there were only seven boys!
Third time lucky and Rebel was the only girl in Kola's final litter of five, so she had to stay.

Rebel lived up to her name from early on, being quite a challenge as she was very naughty, headstrong, noisy and a chewer! However, she always had the sweetest and kindest temperament, not a bad bone in her body and now she has matured is totally trustworthy and quiet, though still naughty!

Rebel is the instigator of most of the play in the house, she likes nothing better than a good rough and tumble in the garden and runs like the wind when out. She is most definitely a pack dog, enjoying the company of others, she loves a game. But she also likes to be close and can usually be found under my feet when I am working.

She is very like her mum in that she doesn't really want to be a show dog, though beautifully constructed with fantastic movement and perfect tail carriage. In her two years she has only been to one show at 6 months old and came home with a red rosette, staying at home for the rest of her puppy career while I was concentrating on Rex who is just 7 months older.

However, her very handsome brother Tenfield Voyager in Switzerland has had a very successful show career over there, being one of the top winning puppies from only a handful of shows. He has already sired his first puppies overseas. We have high hopes for Miles!

Rebel is not a cream, she is a pale golden and changing colour with each coat change.
Rebel has been eye tested clear for all conditions including Gonioscopy tested Grade 0 for Glaucoma, DNA hereditary clear for GR_PRA1 and GR_PRA2, Hips 7-8, Elbows 1. She has been DNA tested as a carrier for Ichthyosis so will only be mated to clear stud dogs and dogs elbow graded 0. She has also been heart tested clear.
