Wey hey! Congratulations to Carol and Caelen who have broken their duck and come home with two red rosettes and their first Best AV Gundog award today! They have won firsts in variety classes before, but at last they have been noticed in the breed ring. The judge at Bournemouth Championship Show looked very hard at Caelen, whom we were sure would have been placed highly in Junior, had his handler got her act together! They did manage to pick up their first Championship Show card in Maiden at that show, but after a quick handling lesson behind a benching tent, the handling has improved. It has taken a long time for the 'team' to come together - we hope this is the start of a good run for Carol and Caelen.
