Ginga the dam (by FTCH and cocker championship winner Rollafields Redbud) is a superb little working bitch who has been trialled and tested with success, Ginga excels in every discipline, rough shooting, beating and picking-up, she has a natural hunting pattern that rarely needs reigning-in, even while working in cover heavy with game she never loses her head; her nose fixed firmly to the ground. She is responsive to the whistle and always takes the next command with enthusiasm, a highly intuitive, intelligent girl who instinctively knows what's expected, I am never in doubt that I can get her onto a line where she picks up scent and confidently follows without hesitation.
Ginga is powerful, compact and naturally well muscled, she paces herself according to the work expected and can go beating after a days picking up and then quickly revert back to a tight hunting walked-up dog without correction. She’s a keepers dream and easily the most useful dog we have here, my husband often tries to steal her on days as she’s a lot of fun to work and never a stress, works in all cover, brambles, gorse and is studious in shorter cover too. Ginga has always been a keen retriever and was trained initially on dummies and will still work with them out of season with as much enthusiasm.
Tarncrags Razzamataz OFTAW (FTCHxFTCH) was chosen as the sire after seeing him working and at trials on a number of occasions. Seeing him run at Emblehope in November I was impressed by his calm and quiet manner while waiting for his turn, when starting his run however he was a stylish, pacey and methodical hunter and it was quite clear he was the best dog there, in a card full of ESS and the only cocker there he came a comfortable 1st on his first outing. He’s a handsome kind natured dog who really is a credit to Fran who produces some of the most honest and stylish cockers I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. I am lucky enough to own his full sister who can also be seen.
Ginga produced 4 dog puppies and 1 bitch, they are shades of light golden through to dark red and all have varying degrees of white as follows.

Dark red dog with wide blaze, white paws and chest

Golden dog with wide white blaze and white paws and chest.

Solid dark golden bitch(SOLD)

Red dog with tiny white star on head and spot on chest.

Both the sire and dam have naturally tight, smooth jackets and have never needed hand stripping. Both have full chests of thick hair in the colder months. The only grooming required is brushing of feathers and trimming inbetween toes.

Puppies will be ready for their new homes from the 30th of August. They are sensibly docked to Scottish standards and puppies will all have an individual certificate.

They will each come with their own pedigree certificate

Both Ginga and Taz have up to date health tests including

Hip scores

Elbow scores

Up to date Gonio eye exams both zero

Up to date PRA exams both unaffected

And DNA tested clear for FN AMS PRA.

Puppies were veterinary examined at time of dock but will be again at time of first vaccine before 8 weeks, they will be microchipped and up to date with all worming and flea treatments.

Puppies are currently in our home and getting constant care but will be moved out at around 4 weeks of age to a specially made whelping room. Puppies will be well socialised with other dogs, cats and children.

These puppies would ideally suit someone interested in training their dog for a working discipline, be it a peg or beating dog, trials and tests or agility and scent work, they would also be suitable for an active pet home as both the sire and dam have an off switch and are calm and relaxed when not working. Viewings are very welcome any time, please just phone or email to arrange.
