Coedhelyg Red Acer

Kerr is a working Toller here at Delphox Gundogs, he is a keen retriever, especially in water where with a scopey entry and strong strokes he is the ‘go-to’ dog particularly in fast moving rivers. He is completely steady to falling birds and sits patiently in a gun line. Kerr also makes an excellent beating dog, he is a stylish hunter with natural game-finding abilities.
Kerr was bred by Coedhelyg Tollers in Wales where his full litter brother ‘Coedhelyg Son Shine’ is doing very well in the show ring.
Kerr has dipped his toe in showing and was calm and well behaved at his first and only show, where he qualified for crufts 2023.
Kerr is fully health tested with an annual eye exam, he has immaculate DNA results and perfect elbows, his hip score is below the breed median. His inbreeding COI is low at 1.1%.
Kerr is naturally well muscled and short coupled, he is a strong and compact dog, he has an excellent coat with an impressive mane.
Kerr is proven and to be used at stud at Delphox and within our close family who also own Tollers.
