Elma is the smallest of our Tollers, she is very fox-like in appearance with an incredible dark red coat and full bushy tail. She is intelligent and comes well equipped to excel in any discipline we think to try her with, be it retrieving, scent work or agility… she loves a mental work out.
Elma is friendly with all people and other dogs but saying this she’s incredibly loyal which I feel is a trait that comes with intelligence.
Elma is a working gundog here at Delphox and out of all our Tollers she shows the most natural game drive, this combined with her intelligence made her trainable but we often had to make an effort to be one step ahead of her, she keeps us on our toes, she is one of our most valued beating dogs with the kind of game finding ability that constantly surprises us.
