Rocco qualified 5 times for Crufts by 9 months of age. Obviously this speaks volumes in itself. He's definitely breed standard, and by no means as large as some dogs. Like his mother, he's compact.
I'm looking forward to seeing what puppies he produces. He will not, however, be available for Stud duties until he's 18 months old, March 2026







Rocco is the apple of his mother's (Tula) eye. Rostov is delighted to have another bloke in this female dominated house!
He qualified for Crufts at the tender age of 6 months and 4 days, by getting 2nd in minor puppy. (SWGR CH show)They can't be shown until 6 months, so this was his first show, and I'm super proud of him. He got 3rd a few weeks later (WELKS CH show)and then he got 2nd in puppy gundog group at Royal Cornwall show, having been awarded best Golden Retriever puppy, so essentially he'd qualified 3 times by 9 months of age. He qualified again twice at The Welsh Kennel Club Championship Show on 15th August with a 2nd in Novice and a 3rd in Puppy, meaning 5 qualifying wins before his 1st birthday
He's taken to showing like a duck to water, he's enthusiastic in the ring and (is learning) to stand still!
He loves the social side of it, meeting other dogs and people. As he's growing up in a house with 4 others and I am very consistent, he's very well behaved and an absolute delight to live with, he is incredibly affectionate and has that typical Golden Retriever attitude to life.
He's learned to swim by copying mum and unc.
Adored by all who meet him, especially his immediate family
