Piper's first litter of two girls and a boy by handsome Crosby (Willsbrook The Hairy Biker At Jandeburn), owned by Debbie Fenn arrived safely on the morning of Thursday, 8 August 2019. The puppies are now in their new homes, except for Bo who has stayed within our family.

Piper is a friendly and biddable mid-gold girl. She is directly descended from our foundation bitch, Tizzy (Overdene Kithera of Dirnanean), who was her great great grandmother and, like Tizzy, was bred by at Overdene Golden Retrievers. Crosby is a sweet-natured, mid-gold boy from lines becoming harder to find these days - lines which go well with ours on the puppies' pedigree. He has sired some lovely litters over the past few years, which is why we were hoping for a bitch puppy to help continue our direct bitch line.

More information about Piper can be found on her page; she has a hip score of 4:6 and a clear eye certificate under the KC/BVA scheme (date of last examination August 2018) - see results of health tests above. Crosby also has a clear eye certificate under the KC/BVA scheme (last examined July 2019), a hip score of 3:4 and an elbow grade of 0:0. Piper is "clear by inheritance", and Crosby has been DNA tested clear for GR_PRA 1 & 2, which means that their puppies are "clear by inheritance" for both conditions.

As usual, the puppies were raised in the house, with access to the garden (weather permitting) from about 5 weeks of age. They left for their new homes with a puppy pack, including pedigree, KC registration documents (which we always endorse "progeny not eligible for registration" and "not eligible for the issue of an export pedigree"), diet sheet, information leaflets, copies of the parents' hip and eye certificates, worming record, 5 weeks free insurance, and a sales contract signed by both parties. The puppies were vet checked, and microchipped before they left us, and the chips were registered with the PetLog database which offers free upgrade to PetLog premium when KC registration and microchip keepership is transferred to new owners.
