We are very sorry to report that we had to say "goodbye" to Rufus on Monday, 9 July 2012.

Rufus was one of four puppies in his mother's first litter born in April 2002. He was only lightly shown as a puppy; he decided very early on that showing was not his idea of fun! He did, however, prove to be an excellent stud dog, producing typical Golden Retriever puppies with sunny natures and excellent temperaments.

Rufus had a hip score of 5:6 and clear eyes under the KC/BVA scheme (see results of health tests above), We are very pleased that Rufus lives on in his progeny, including what turned out to be his final litter, born early May 2012.
