We are very sorry to report that Porsche slipped away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, 17 April 2019.
Porsche was the only bitch in her mother's second litter of six, born in November 2003, so she stayed with us at Horham - it was a happy decision. She was a Championship Show 1st prize winner, won multiple Best of Breed awards, and was also a Group winner.
Porsche had a hip score of 6:4 (see results of health tests above), but was only bred from once; from that litter by Cattrysse Raindancer for Horham, Esme (Horham Yes Sir I Can Boogie) was chosen to stay at Horham. Esme went to live with the Overdene Golden Retrievers in July 2016, taking her mother's wonderful character (and occasionally naughty ways) with her. Porsche lives on through Esme's son Sam (Horham Oi Ready) and daughter Cora (Overdene Terpsichore).
She was one of a kind - and we will miss her.
