Oak is the sweetest, most loyal girl who as well
as being a well established working Gundog on all game birds and types of shooting (mainly a member of a large picking up team, but also will happily sit rock steady on peg, take part in rough shooting and beating) is also a much loved family member. Our dogs have the best of both worlds, working during the shooting season and being fully fledged adventure dogs/pub crawlers/holidayers when not. Oak was bred by ourselves from our eldest springer Tilly, who is an absolute machine in the field. We also kept Oaks litter brother Colonel who is effortlessly to work, and Oaks daughter, Cedar from her first litter two years ago who is showing a lot of promise and has just completed her first working season very successfully. We can safely say this line of springers successfully make either (and both) a great working companion or a lovely active pet!
We paired Oak to Ollie this time as he stood out as being a very confident and secure dog, while having great working drive and the structure we look for when bringing more Wildnook spaniels into the world. We like a traditional strong dog that will tackle all day on the grouse moor when needed.
Both dogs are health tested and we have many a family member backing up the great continued health of these springers.
We do have a waiting list however we do not go off first come first serve but rather ‘best fit’ homes.
There is also an option for puppies to be kept with us to go on to our bespoke part trained/fully trained programme at an additional cost.
