Our beautiful English springer spaniel bitch, Tilly, has been confirmed in pup with a litter due on the 30th May.

I call Tilly my dream dog, not only because I’ve dreamt of owning a dog just like her since I started my career in Gundogs, but also because she couldn’t be more ideal to what I believe a springer spaniel should be.
She is kind and biddable, but hits hunting hard and has a true passion to work. She’s been very forgiving to me in our early days as I advanced through the way of training that is more tailored to the spaniel breeds rather than what I had the majority of my experience in previously with retriever breeds. She truly is the dog that I feel most excited to get out to train and work.
She predominantly picks up with the team 4-6 days a week on grouse, pheasant and partridge estates but will happily come wild fowling, go beating or sit on the peg when we have a change of scenery for the day and never gives less than 110 percent!
Tilly is also ‘part time pet’ as all of our dogs come with us on holidays and days out, hiking and visiting dog friendly pubs (we even recently had one of the pups from her last litter on a steam train tour through the Welsh mountains!) We like all of our dogs to be ‘multi-purpose’ in that they can turn their paw to a hard days work but also be part of the family coming everywhere they possibly can with us!

I’ve put her to the lovely Hunter who we went to see in Wales. He works full time during the shooting season just like Tilly, and even retrieves turkeys on one of his local shoots! He is a lovely boy, and exactly the stamp I think compliments my girl perfectly and I cannot wait to see what they produce together.

Both dogs are health tested.

This will be Tilly’s second litter and from her last litter I kept both a dog and a bitch. Both had their first couple of days experiencing shoot days last season and took to it a dream; I cannot wait to see how they progress in their next season. Both pups love their training, and their adventure days, are used in training sessions with clients, and are coming along exactly how I would hope. This litter is sired by a different stud but with the same intention of a well rounded springer. I have plenty of photographs of Tilly and the dogs produced from her last litter.

We do have a waiting list for said litter however as always we do not go off ‘first come first serve’ but rather ‘best fit’ homes.
