Betty my dark yellow Labrador gave birth to a litter of dark yellow and fox red shade of yellow pups, four girls and 3 boys. There is now just one young man seeking loving and happy new home. Betty has a biddable personality with kind nature and is eager to please. Betty lives with her mother and other family dogs in the home though on rare occasions does spend time in the kennel. Betty is a working gun dog and picks up on various shoots in the area and is in great demand for her skills. She is also happy to be a peg dog for my husband and I when we go off shooting and is excellent on long retrieves both runners and dead game. She is an exceptional water dog and is excellent at marking and hunting. Betty proved to be a quick learner and a pleasure to train. Betty's pedigree consists of Holbatch, Flashmount, Westhope, Deuarth and Drakeshead. Bettys half sisters are now attending various FT training groups and are prooving to be as biddible as Betty and having a whale of a time.

Gaffer the father is also a working dog while being a dark fox/red colour. He has a Hips Score of 4/6, Eyes unaffected and PRCD-PRA CLEAR. Gaffer is a kind and biddable chap while being eager to please and a quick learner. Gaffer has on his lines Geordieland, Drakeshead, Flashmount, Tweedshot and Lochmuir. Gaffer regularly takes part in FTs with great success.

Both parents have many FTCH in their lines and can be seen.

The puppies are initially brought up in the home then move out to the kennel where they have access to play toys and cover to begin their first stage of becoming inquisitive and hunting youngsters. The pups also have access to the garden and water and come back into the home where they begin their first phase of toilet training and being introduced to visitors and everyday noises. The boys are now 99% house trained I am pleased to say and they turned out to be quick learners....thank goodness!! They are also taken out for joy rides in the vehicles where they learn to become good travellers and meet the big wide-open world. Puppy (Harry), is fully vaccinated and wormed with vaccination certifacte. Harry as I have nick named him comes to his name, is lead trained, sit and staying and has begun fetching and carrying. He is a kind and biddible young man and has a handsome wide face with lovely placed eyes with broad chest, good conformation, and excellent thick tail for swimming.

My puppies have previously gone to pet and working homes successfully and many still keep in touch and will be happy to provide references. I endeavour to provide the best possible homes I can and prefer new owners to visit at least once before taking their new companions home though this is not compulsary. I also advise the new owner to bring an item of clothing or bedding that smells of both themselves, any other pet/dog and the family so puppy can become aware of their future family. This in turn also helps the pup at the other end as their litter mates and family will then be transferred onto the bedding and be a comfort when they move in with their new families.

Puppies will leave being fully wormed, nails clipped, KC Registered, 4 weeks free insurance, vet checked, feeding and exercise sheet, small bag of food and support and advice will be on hand throughout the puppies life.

The feed back from this litters new families has been very positive and I am very happy for their new owners and the pups alike.
