Due to unforeseen circumstances of previous owners I have a black boy looking for his forever home.
He is answering to the name of Bodhi as it stands and has a calm biddable nature. Bodhi is fully housetrained, is excellent on recall, is crate trained, up to date with worming and flea treatment, fully vaccinated and is ready to start his new life with a caring family.
He would be suitable as a working/pet/companion or purely companion dog.
I do expect my puppies to be part of the family unit and have access to the family home even if the dogs are kenneled during the night or when owners are out and about.
I offer ongoing support and all the other owners are on a WhatsApp community group and share thoughts, ideas and have the opportunity to share photos and ask for advice. If you wish to become part of our group a document will be sent to the you outlying the terms that I have in place regarding the group and in return you reply with an email acknowledging the terms.
Bodhi really needs to start his new life now so please only apply if you are confident you can offer him a happy and grounded home with lots of TLC and adventures ahead of him.
References from the new owners of Boos last litter can be supplied as can previous litters.

An informal interview will take place before you can come to visit us at our family home.

For future reference I do not plan to have another litter for 18 m and this is dependent on the temperament, health and health tests of my girls.

A waiting list has now opened for the next litter if anyone should wish to add their name to it.

Red the sire/father may be viewed on an appointment basis only. Red is a working dog and a valued member of the family on a local Commercial Shoot. He is strong, athletic, agile, biddable with a kind nature and used to young children. I have one of Reds daughters, Bridget, with me who may be viewed if Covid permits during your puppy visits.
Boo is a much-loved family member and works for me during the shooting season as a picking up and peg dog. Boo loves cuddles on the sofa and has a sweet nature. Boo is also used to young children and shares her home with her son and other relations. Boo and her relatives can be viewed covid restrictions permitting during your visits.
Both Parents are health tested and KC registered.
Boo has a clear unaffected eye examination as of 15th Dec 2020.
Elbow score 0/0, 27th January 2016
Hip Score 2/0, 27th January 2016
Red has a clear unaffected eye examination as of 14th Dec 2020
Elbow score 0/0
Hip Score 4/4
Once the puppies are born and the critical time has passed, I will inform everyone on the waiting list of how Boo and the puppies are doing and if their desired puppy is available. A contract and advice sheet will follow at this stage for the prospective new owners to read through to make sure you are happy with the terms and conditions that I have in place.
Due to Covid restrictions as it currently stands videos will be sent out and everyone is given the opportunity to choose their desired puppy with a non-refundable £500 deposit. This will commence from the age of 5 weeks after hopefully the puppies have passed the critical stages. However, if for any reason something my end should concern me regarding your puppy, I will return the deposit after discussing in the first instance with the prospective new owners what my concerns are. I also reserve the right to return any deposits if I feel my initial assessment of the new owners are not suited for one of our puppies.
The puppies will be brought up in our family home and will be used to other dogs, young children and the day to day sounds that a busy household has to offer. The puppies will be extensively socialised and handled by our staff who work from our home with our main business.
Puppies will begin their crate training; toilet training and are taken out on jollies in the vehicles when doing grocery shopping and visiting the vets to acclimatise them to travelling.
Puppies will begin their obedience training, water training, recall verbally and on whistle & socialisation skills.
Puppies will leave our home to start their new lives with their KC documents KC admin permitting during Covid, will have had a vet health check, microchip, fully wormed from week 2 every 2 weeks for 3 consecutive days, puppy pack to include a cuddly toy and blanket with siblings scent and Boos scent as a comforter, a small bag of Beta Large Breed Puppy food, and 5 weeks free KC insurance. Ongoing support is offered if desired and I welcome updates and when permitted visits. A WhatsApp group is offered for those who want to be part of the Boo and Red Puppy community with ground rules put in place.
References from previous happy owners can be supplied and many people have returned to us for second and third puppies to become part of their families both as working dogs or family companions.
Under normal circumstances we would encourage & welcome as many visits to your new puppy after the age of 5 weeks as is possible to begin the bonding process with owner and new family member. Sadly, we cannot offer this service to sit in our garden with your new puppy but hopefully the time will come that we can do this once again.
The new owners will need to be very clear a puppy can be costly over the course of its lifetime and hopefully will be with you for between 10-16 years. They are time consuming and need lots of attention and play time. Puppies have no regard for their environment and will go through a teething process where anything is fair game from furniture, shoes, toys, bedding to cherished lawns and flowers & of course school homework . They must not be overexercised until a minimum of 12 to 15months of age as this could potentially lead to joint problems later on in life. Puppies will go through various stages in the first two to three years of their lives, the teenager years can be quite challenging but eventually they will settle into their middle-aged phase which is much calmer. A dog will bring lots of love and joy to your lives and you will find yourselves laughing out loud once the tears have evaporated from seeing your favourite armchair or pot plant being chewed into a thousand pieces.
I would encourage anyone who is looking for a puppy to consider a rescue dog before paying for a new puppy as sadly the animal centres are inundated with dogs and cats especially during this time that we all find ourselves in.
If after you have considered all the above and you wish to enquire about one of our cherished puppies, I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
If you could in the initial contact send me an email with your contact details and a description of your circumstances to include your occupation & reassurances that financially you are able to care for a dog, I will endeavour to get back to you as soon as I can so please do not be offended if you do not hear from me straight away as at this time as I am overwhelmed with the interest shown.
Security of our dogs is paramount, and we have an extensive 24hour security system in place as we also run a business from our home and buildings.
Please remain vigilant as dog theft is on the increase.
I look forward to chatting with you and talking about our beautiful dogs.
