The day we put our beloved Heidi to sleep I heard from my friend Jean Griggs (Mulfield) that they were expecting a litter out of Heidi's niece. Even though getting another puppy while still grieving for Heidi (and Hester two month earlier) was not in my mind, this was an opportunity I couldn't miss.
Corran (a Scottish name meaning spit of land or peninsula, the Corran ferry plies a stretch of water in the NW of Scotland and is the way to get to Garmoran- our affix) joined us in November 2021.
She is the perfect puppy- she comes to work at the vets and acts as our support dog on stressful days and comforts clients who have lost a pet. Calm and gentle she is the most loved and treasured companion.
She has been shown at a few championship shows and has been placed at some of them. After qualifying for Crufts this year she couldn't attend as she came into season.
Her health test results are very good so maybe another litter here will be on the cards in the summer of 2025.
