Hester's puppies have arrived. They are beautiful and beginning to thrive. They are all now reserved.




It has always been my ambition to breed a litter of Golden Retrievers so after a great deal of thought and planning I have mated my beautiful bitch Hester to Archie.
Archie (Zampanzar Say it Again Shardanell) is a successful show dog having won one CC and 3 RCCs including one at Crufts 2011. He has a gentle temperament and has good hips and elbows in addition to a clear eye certificate. I think he will complement Hester beautifully.
Hester was bred by Jean Griggs (Mulfield) and has inherited soundness both in health and temperament which is characteristic of Jean's breeding. She has proved to be highy intelliegent and easy to train with a soft and biddable nature in common with most Golden Retrievers. She has a low hip score, zero elbows and a current eye certificate.
The puppies will be born and raised in my house. In my work as a small animal vet I am very aware of the importance of early socialisation to enable puppies to become well adjusted family pets. As a result, I will spend a lot of time exposing the litter to a variety of experiences and people (including children) in the weeks before they go to their new homes.
Once the puppies have left me I will always be available by phone and email to give help and support.
The puppies will be microchipped and wormed by me and if desired a first vaccination will be given. I will provide a bag of food and full advice about training and continuing the socialisation process. The puppies will leave me with four weeks insurance.
I will be happy to discuss this litter with anyone who would like to be considered for a puppy. Before accepting bookings I will need to be satisfied that any prospective owners understand what is involved in owning a Golden Retriever and can offer a lifetime of care.
The puppies will be ready to go to their new homes towards the end of November.
