After a wait of nearly three years we are expecting our second litter of puppies. The mother of the litter is our beautiful dog, Heidi. She is a superb example of her breed both in looks and temperament and has been extensively health tested. The sire we have chosen to be the father of the litter is a successful show dog from the Ipcress kennel. He also is extensively health tested and most importantly has a lovely, kind nature. He was best dog puppy at Crufts in 2011 and has recently gained his first reserve CC. Heidi has also been shown with some success although she is primarily our pet and companion. The puppies will make excellent pets and companions and should be trainable and biddable like their parents. Hopefully one or two of the litter may be good enough to enter the show ring.
The litter will be born and reared in our house. During their time with us the puppies will be gently handled and exposed to all the sights and sounds which they are likely to encounter as they grow up and move to their new homes.
I am a veterinary surgeon in small animal practice and take the rearing of our puppies very seriously to enable them to adapt easily to whatever life style they have. My own dogs have travelled widely with our family and are very adaptable and accepting of new people.
The puppies will leave me with full guidance on rearing and training, a bag of food and will have been microchipped. I will provide help and support for as long as required. In return, I like to be kept updated on the puppy's progress with an occasional telephone call or email.
I already have a waiting list for this litter and at this stage cannot accept any more enquiries for bitch puppies. I do, however, have a couple of spaces on my list for potential dog puppy owners. The puppies will be ready to go to their new homes at the end of June.
