We are very sorry to report that we had to say "goodbye" to Sam on Saturday, 30 January 2021 after a short illness. Sam's passing brings to an end almost 50 years of home-bred Golden Retrievers at Horham.

Initially, we kept a dog and a bitch from Esme and Ty's litter; the girl went to live in a new home in July 2016, but Sam always stayed at Horham. Over the years he was at limited stud, siring several lovely litters, including those of our friends at Overdene and Kindrogan; without exception, his puppies inherited his lovely, gentle temperament. Sam was much loved by all who knew him, and will always be missed and remembered fondly.
