We breed special companions that make wonderful additions to any family. Our main aim is to produce healthy, puppies with lovely temperaments that are well socialised and a joy to own.

We are delighted that quite a few of our puppies have gone on to be assistance dogs, with either Canine Partners or Dogs for Good (formerly called Dogs for the Disabled). It is a wonderful use of their natural talents, and they lead happy useful lives looking after their human partner. We are also very proud of Daisy's gorgeous son George who is a qualified Pat Dog and is very popular on his regular visits to patients in hospital and children in special schools.

We mainly breed black and yellow puppies but occasionally we have a few choclate puppies in a litter.

We live on an 11 acre smallholding in beautiful West Wales where our dogs have lots of space to run around and play.

We have four generations of gorgeous Labradors. All our dogs live in the house with us as part of the family, so we give each and every one lots of love and attention and can vouch for their temperaments in a home environment.

Our breeding girls are our pets, we treat them just like any other average family dog, with plenty of enrichment and enjoyment. They do various things including daily off lead walks in the local forestry and excursions to other places to walk and to the beach. They go to a couple of dog clubs where they meet their friends and take part in training and fun activities.

We are members of the Kennel Club Assured Breeders Scheme and are UKAS approved. We passed our latest inspection with full marks in March 2023.

The bitches that we breed from and the dogs that we put them to all have good looks, super temperaments, excellent health test results and health test pedigrees. Please see our pages on individual dogs for more detailed information on their health scores.

Whilst we don't show our dogs we still aim to keep close to the breed type and breed good looking well put together dogs. We know that most people want a dog that they can be proud to be seen with, and having good conformation means that they should have many years of active life.

We don't train our dogs to work in the shooting field but feel that it is important to retain the working ability of the breed. Most dogs that we have bred love to retrieve and have excellent noses. As is typical of the breed most of them love water and swimming which is great exercise for them.

We like to stay in touch with the owners of our pups throughout their lives, most of them are family dogs and are much loved, and we have many reports of their biddable natures and sensible attitude to life. Several families have come back to us for a second puppy, and one family now have four of ours each a couple of years apart in age!
