Rosie is Jess's Daughter and our fourth generation, we have her mum, granny and great-grandma. She is a pretty girl and of medium build and size. She has a lovely extravert, playful personality combined with a strong will to please. She loves a cuddle and sleeping curled up with her extended doggy family in front of the logburner. She has a quick intelligence and loves to learn, but is still calm and sensible.

Rosie gained her Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze Award at just 7 months old and has also passed the KC Good Citizen Silver Award. Then immediately following 3 months off from training due to maternal duties, and only three training sessions to prepare she passed the Good Citizen Gold Award.

In summer 2019 Rosie, her mum Jess and I took up Rally Obedience training which we all enjoy. We attended our first competition in November, Rosie did very well indeed gaining 208 points out of a possible 210!

Three of Rosie's siblings have qualified as assistance dogs with the wonderful organisation 'Canine Partners', they are loving their jobs of helping their disabled partners with their daily lives.

Rosie has excellent health test results, her hip and elbow EBV's (Estimated Breeding Values) are well below the average for the breed. Dogs with a lower than average genetic risk of hip/elbow dysplasia will have an EBV lower than zero (i.e. a negative number). She is PRA, EIC, CNM, SD2, MCD, and STGD clear, she is a carrier for HNPK but will only be mated to dogs who are tested clear of HNPK so any puppy of hers will never suffer from any of these 7 conditions. She has a current clear eye certificate.
