1st Puppy, Best Puppy - Ripon & DCS ‘23 - Janet Kay (Kaytian), who wrote “At 6 months old, this young Deerhound really is something. He was gentle and friendly and a little apprehensive, but soon gained confidence in the ring, with gentle handling, he is in great hands. He had a typical aquiline head, with black pigmentation and dark eyes and soft expression. His small, high set ears, folded neatly back, to follow his neck, that was clean, long and strong. Long, strong, well boned legs, to compact, soundly knuckled feet. He had a good depth of chest and clean underline. On the move, he showed his beautiful balanced easy action, with his long stride, both fore and aft, with well matched angles. A very promising future. best Puppy & Res BOB”
