Bertie is Hattie’s son born in 2020. He was that puppy in the litter that could not be ignored and I was constantly drawn to him. As Scarlett was still only a youngster I knew that he couldn’t stay here, however much I wanted to keep him. Fortunately I struck lucky when Liz expressed an interest in having one of the puppies, even better she had dabbled in the show world some years ago.
Liz has given Bertie a fabulous home and he wants for nothing. He entered the show ring at 6 months of age and is finally getting the hang of it! I’ve been able to handle him in the ring at the majority of shows. If I’ve not been available, either Liz or a friend has stepped in.
Bertie is doing very well, qualifying for Crufts 2022 & is already qualified for Crufts 2023!
Liz and I are so proud of this lovely young dog, he was awarded a 3rd place at Crufts 2022 and has a number of red rosettes to add to his growing collection.

At Crufts 2023 Bertie thrilled us by being shortlisted to the final 8 dogs out of 22 in Graduate dog. Then in KCGC he went one better by being awarded 4th place out of 21 dogs under judge Lynn Kipps - we couldn’t be any prouder of our lovely boy. What a superstar he is!

Bertie has now qualified for Crufts 2024 as he was awarded 2nd place in Graduate dog at the NGRA Championship Show in April.
