Reethi is my first home bred bitch. She is intelligent and biddable, completely devoted. I love working and training with her. Her name meaning beauty, an island in the Maldives where my husband and I spent our honeymoon, is where she's named after; she epitomises the class and style of a working retriever with an unexaggerated appearence which meets the breed standard in a classic way. Her introduction in gundoggery has been a great success with 3 consecutive working test wins, first in puppy summer 2017 with most over all points and judges choice at the Flatcoated Retriever interarea challenge (representing the FCR southern club). At her first ever novice test she won 1st place against other more experienced flatcoats, and judges choice. Then 2 weeks later, winning an intermediate test meaning she is restricted to competing in open working tests from the age of 2 years, she's achieved allot. Shooting season of 2018, she worked 30 days plus, contributing at 5 different shoots and attending 2 field trials which was a first for the both of us! She achieved her Shooting Dog Cirtificate 'A' at 20 months and Kennel Club Working Gundog Certificate allowing her Crufts qualification for life. Although an active and energetic dog outside, she is a quiet and gentle house dog, she shares her home with her mum and half sister who are liver, another flatcoat and a springer spaniel. She has perfect manners around children and is affectionate and caring towards everyone she meets and respectful of other dogs.
