Drummer is a medium sized, correctly constructed Wirehaired Vizsla with a harsh, tight, russet coat.

He is at home in both the shooting field and the show ring and is worked regularly in the shooting season on both Grouse and Pheasant. We also enjoy helping out with various Grouse counts in March and July.

Lightly shown under selective judges, his most recent success was gaining 1st in Veteran Dog and Best Veteran at Blackpool Championship Show 2021. He gained his stud book number at SKC in 2021.

Drummer is a natural hunter and an exceptionally steady dog. He has gained various Good gradings at Grouse Pointing Tests and was awarded the Working Gundog Certificate in 2016, qualifying him for Crufts for life.

He has an exceptional temperament - a laidback pet in the home, but a superb hunter, pointer and retriever in the field making him an all round HPR. He truly is one of those dogs you can take anywhere, nothing phases him!

Drummer is HUU tested, hipscored and had a 2nd clear eye test in 2020 . He has tested negative for longhair and carries one copy of the furnishing gene. He is offered at stud to approved bitches only.

Drummer sadly passed away suddenly, shortly before his 10th birthday. He was, without doubt, the perfect working dog, show dog and best friend. There was and never will be, another like him.
