Louie had a balanced Hip Score of 3:3 which is below the Breeds average.

He was a substantial dog within the breed Standard. He was well muscled and has good bone, weighing in at 40kg.

He enjoyed his very active lifestyle and is a happy contented Weimaraner. He was a keen retriever, an enthusiastic Swimmer and brave when finding game in prickly cover.

Louie matured into a handsome dog with the expected aristocratic features the Weimaraner dog is known for. He had a strong muscular frame with the confidence to go with it.

Louie was also a Canine Blood Donor which just goes to show what a lovely nature he has.

He was typical of the Breed with a need to be amongst his family but whilst at home he was happy to follow his mothers lead.
Louie sired 27 puppies in his stud dog role and has given me his daughter Martha as a leaving present to me as he went over rainbow bridge in May 2020, in my arms, peacefully and quite unexpected in the early hours.

Producing puppies with great characters and biddable natures with the wonderful characteristics of the breed standard and beautiful silver grey colouring.
