Anna retired from regular days out Beating and 'flushing' Game... but only to give her son the experience he needs... She can still show her son a few tricks of the dog world to this day.
She was awarded her Stud Book No in the Show Ring many years ago. And after having had her single litter is now withdrawn from the show ring gracefully.
Her heart was willing but her body slow to respond when she saw the Hares get up in front of her. And watched her son 'get up' after them and give chase. She used to look at me and give me that look of "Wish it was me!!".
Anna was a real pleasure to walk out with and has been a great tease aid for her sons' gundog training. I wish Anna had gotten to meet her granddaughter Martha.
