This is Grouse, now 6 years old.
Jane Cule awarded him his 2nd CC at WELKS Championship Show. Her critique... "I don't think that this dog was having 40 winks on the day. I loved the masculinity of this dog. Super head, eye & expression. Strong neck falls into well placed shoulders. Good legs & feet with firm topline which he holds at all times on the move. His movement was a dream to watch, both front & back a class act. I don't think it will be long before he gains his title".

Head shot of Grouse.
His 1st CC was awarded to him by Barbara Earley at Welsh Kennel Club Championship Show, when he was 19 months old. Her critique... "This class was possibly one of the most difficult to judge simply because of the quality of the exhibits, so many really nice dogs. A very well balanced liver & white. Lovely head, good topline, good depth of chest with well-sprung pasterns. Moved well. I was pleased to award him the DCC".

This is Reef, aged 4 years.
Martin Yorke awarded Reef the Dog Challenge Certificate at Leeds Championship Show. His critique... "Very muscular sloping shoulders, long upper arm, elbows well laid back, forelegs straight & lean, muscular & strong boned, clean cut head with good eye, deep chest, powerful hindquarters with great muscletone, well carried tail, taut coat, giving impression he would work all day. CC".

Head shot of Reef, pictured after he had won the limit class at SKC Championship Show, August 2007, judged by Mike Blay. His critique..."Big, strong, imposing dog, liked his head & clean shoulders, good front, harsh coat, strong in loin & well developed behind, correct angulation allowing him to power around the ring".
Here in the heart of Nidderdale, we are surrounded by miles & miles of beautiful countryside, enabling the dogs to hunt, point & flush game most days whilst out in the fields & woodland. They love to retrieve from water too, and the local rivers Nidd & Skell are favourite places for swimming.
I enjoy working my dogs in the shooting season on various local pheasant shoots........ but not as much as the dogs enjoy it!
