"Had to forgive his size as there are so many things to like about him. Strongly built dog, totally balanced throughout with good lay of shoulder & matching rear angulation. Attractive head with good facial furnishings, good red colouring & though his coat was a bit sparse it has a good wire texture. Moved stylishly round the ring with good profile movement & driving from well muscled quarters, holding a good topline & correctly held tail, presenting a very imposing picture. BD." Ilex Whiting
