TED: Pantycelyn Highland King at Northdrum is an outstanding example of a JRT, beautiful construction, gorgeous head, lovely top line and a superb gentle temperament with a lovely wee cheeky character to boot. He is first and foremost a pet but is now being campaigned at local and most Championship Shows nationally as, having shown potential as a youngster, this was swiftly realised, and he is now doing exceptionally well and enjoying life as a show dog. Ted has a fantastic nature and thoroughly enjoys competing, a real 'show man' who just loves to strut his stuff, a great fun little dog who is a loyal companion to his owners and their other dogs. Ted was coming 2nd in his classes in 2019 and 2020 with a very nice Reserve Best in Show at the Coatbridge, Airdrie & District Show 2020; he soon starting hitting the top spot in 2022, he was Best in Show at the Gateshead Metropolitan Open show and Reserve Best in Show at Manchester & District Sporting Terrier Show plus gained at 1st at Crufts for the first time, and this year, again won his Class at Crufts as well as many others. His winning streak goes from strength to strength and he has qualified for Crufts 2024. A very exciting Show career is well and truly underway for Ted and we have high hopes for his off spring.

CORRIE: Our little darling, Corrie was our first JRT once they became Royal Kennel Club registered (1 Jan 2016). She is an absolute delight, a typical terrier in many ways and not in other ways, so very sweet and playful, so so obedient, loyal and loving, a perfect lap dog and such a biddable companion. She gets on well with her GSP family and fortunately is not unnecessarily yappy but certainly considers she rules the roost, a very happy, loving wee Jackie. Corrie originates from a well renowned show family and we had a lot of success with her as a younster. She has taken time out as we concentrated on our other JRTs and in the meantime has had three previous litters, many of the off spring are also doing well in the show ring. We are looking forward to campaigning her as a Veteran next year (age 7 upwards) but in the meantime going to let her have her final litter. She adores being a Mum and is so very very good at it (not always the case with some small breeds), feeding and cleaning her babes right up till the moment they leave. A real wee treasure!

We have high hopes for a superb litter from the mix of Ted and Corrie. Possibly a mixed litter of Broken and Rough coated JRTs (possibly a smooth but unlikely but you never really know). The pups will be reared in the home to ensure they are used to a busy household and will be ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks. They will be fully vet checked, microchipped and wormed, they will leave with a comprehensive Puppy Pack inclusive of all information required to help them settle in their new homes and all new owners will be expected to sign a contract.

THE PROCESS: We are Scottish Borders Council Licensed Breeders, Royal Kennel Club and SSPA Assured Breeders and we like to make acquiring and owning one of our pups a truly wonderful, magical experience right from the very start. You are taken on a journey from Day one, we provide daily Pupdates (WhatsApp Video plus a weights chart) detailing the puppies progress so you can feel involved in their early weeks, visits are allowed from 4 weeks of age and the Selection/Allocation process takes place at 6 weeks of age, following which a non-refundable deposit of 20% is paid to secure your pup, and pups go to their new homes at 8 weeks, which in this case would be around mid October 2023.

The pups are born into and brought up in a busy home spending their first 4 weeks in a spare bedroom, in total peace and quiet with Mum, before being brought downstairs into the heart of the busy home for the second 4 week period, to commence socialisation. As much socialisation is conducted as is possible as this is key to the onward development of the pups, they are exposed to everyday noises and more, and mix with the other 7 family dogs. Two health checks are carried out by our own Vets (ARMAC of Biggar) and the pups undergo a course of worming at 2, 4, 6 and at 8 weeks of age just before leaving for their new homes. The pups are Microchipped, and leave with a very comprehensive Puppy Pack including RKC Registration, 5 Weeks free Insurance with the option to continue, a health check letter from our Vet, Food and manufacturer's information guide, a blanket that has been in the pups bed for weeks (helps with the first few days settling in), old toys and new toys plus a a detailed and informative Information pack providing you with everything you need to know about Socialisation, Feeding, Exercise, Health and Welfare, Grooming etc. The pups are Endorsed (not for Export and not for Breeding) plus we demand our new Puppy Owners to engage in a contract with us (which can be viewed in advance). Most important of all, we provide Life Long Support (life length of the dog), as much or as little as desired, to all our pups and families and are ALWAYS on hand throughout the dogs life.

We are waiting to confirm the mating (Vet Scan 14 July) but I have opened a Waiting List, should you wish to be on it please email in the first instance. I will ask that you come and meet us and meet our dogs as it is so important to us that you actually like us, our dogs and our methods.

UPDATE: 27 JULY,23 - Corrie was scanned and is expecting so we are so excited!! The interest has been fabulous, thank you.

UPDATE: 8 AUGUST, 23 - Corrie's litter is imminent and interest has been tremendous so all her pups are now spoken for. However, I am pleased to say we will be mating our gorgeous Nell to the lovely Ted very soon too so I am still happy to receive enquiries but not for too much longer.

References and contact details of owners of our pups can also be given. Thank you.
