  • German Shorthaired Pointer
  • Jack Russell Terrier

We are lovers of country pursuits and the outdoors and well over years ago now we were looking for an energetic, intelligent, loving and versatile HPR breed, all of which we found and more in the GSP. Introducing our first into our family in 2001 he set a high standard and we have literally never looked back. In affection, loyalty, intelligence, grace and ease of training they deliver over and over again. We also always had a passion for JRTs and have owned and loved them for well over twenty years too, now recognised by the Kennel Club we introduced the Show JRT to the family and have our own breeding pair and a stud dog who completes our fun pack.

GSPS - Our first GSP was Gunwale, Dewdavion Master at Arms via Navigareamor, who affirmed the intelligence and versatility of the breed and from a wonderful and infamous Show and Working bloodline, a son of the great 'Herbie' (Sh Ch Jennaline Herr-Bacceous at Oakberrow); on his passing we just knew we had to keep this line going. We had also found the Alaylgow family and welcomed, Jenny, Alaylgow Anukis via Navigareamor, a beautiful, gentle girl who had great success in the Show ring earning us our first RCC and who would have gone on to do far more had her human Mother not been called away to serve overseas. Another Alaylgow, Rosie, Alaylgow El Aruk via Navigareamor, now 12, followed as we simply loved this new line and thoughts started to put the two lines together. With Gunwale reaching senior years and sadly not long for this life and past siring age for a litter, we searched and found a nephew of his, Foster, Sh Ch Oakberrow Wotzinaname, and realising this was the answer to keep our two lines going decided to mate him with Rosie. They had a beautiful litter from which we kept our boy, HP, Navigareamor Hardtoport, who is such a loving boy and already had fantastic success in the Show Ring, winning BOB at CRUFTS 19. Wanting our own breeding stock as well as introduce depth in the working lines, we decided to introduce the Black and Whites to our Liver and White crew and bought in Tilly, Katelands Cosmic Affair via Navigareamor. She is from the hugely successful and lovely Katelands Kennels recognised for their excellent Showing and Working stock. Tilly has a great nose and has also had some super success in the Ring. In mid 2019 we introduced Gimbal, Balvenie Dressed to Thrill via Navigareamor, to the pack as she has our lines and I was keen to have a new pup to train to the Gun. Tilly had a litter back end of 2019 and we were absolutely delighted with results, sired by Jasper, Jomeel Monkey Wrench, we decided not to keep one from the litter but watch carefully over the first year and if all went well do a repeat mating. This we did in 2021 and kept another Black and White Bitch, Flow, Navigareamor Spring Tide. Now a year old we are delighted with her progress particularly on the working side and who is showing promise in the Show ring. This is currently our GSP crew (April 2022) but watch this space, we hope to expand with litters in the future.
We think we have the right mix - beautiful family pets, success in the Show ring with a strong working strain to match; looks, intelligence and temperament who could asked for more.

JRTs - Having had working JRTs before and sadly with the passing of our original two boys, we decided to introduce two girls to the team and two from excellent show lines to boot. Introducing Corry, Saredon Rainbow Dream via Navigareamor, from the super Monamour family, a broken coated JRT already showing promise in the ring plus Nell, Locheil Stop and Look via Navigareamor, a rough coated bitch from the Locheil family who are having super success at the moment. She is also showing much promise. We have now added Harry, Navigareamor Jack Be Quick, to the family, a sweet natured, fun but cheeky boy who is homebred, son to Corry, and was due to start his showing career but stopped due to Covid-19. He is smooth coated and 'what you see is what you get', there is no hiding anything on Harry, not necessarily a preference in the show ring but he is holding his own well. Furthermore we are delighted as we now have our own stud dog with his father the infamous Irish Champ, Krisbos Kaiser Tom. Harry has just proven himself as Nell is expecting her second litter to him in May 2022.
Do have a look at our dogs and feel free to get in touch.
