31/10/22 Update.

I was unlucky in this litter and only had one pup which I am keeping. As a result, I have mated another bitch to the same dog and puppies are due to be born around Christmas and ready for their new homes at the end of February. This bitch (Rectoryoak Atlantic) is a daughter of Shimnavale Juno and as I say she was mated to the same dog so the breeding is very similar. Rectoryoak Atlantic had a litter in September 2021 and I only know of one puppy that has had his hips and elbows scored. He got 0/0 in elbows and 0/0 in hips so perfect scores. Please contact for further information.

Waiting list is now open for very rare opportunity to own a pup bred from two field trial champions. Puppies are due 04/09/22.

IrFTCh Shimnavale Juno (Arya) has been successfully mated to IrFTCh Kelmarsky Arkle of Astraglen (Arkle).

Arya is an exceptional bitch and I made her into a champion at two years old. She is a litter sister to the 2018 Irish Retriever Championship Winner and has qualified every year herself since two years old. She is one of those dogs that is full of drive and can work independently but can also handled onto a sixpence. I currently have 3 dogs out of Arya and I am delighted with each of them. They are proving very successful in working tests and I am looking forward to trialling them this year.

Arkle is an exceptional dog and is a son of Kelmarsky Crow who was Irish Retriever of the Year in 2020. I competed against Arkle on numerous occasions this year and was really excited by what I saw, handsome, full of drive and can work independently as well as having excellent handling. It was on one of these occasions that I knew he would be the dog I would be taking Arya to, I think he complements her in every way.

In addition to many working tests Arya has won a novice trial and in open trials has got four 1sts, two 2nds, two 3rds, a fourth and numerous certificates of merit. She qualified for opens at one year old and I made her into a champion the following season.

Last year was Arkle’s first trialling season and what an amazing season he had. As well as winning a novice, in opens he achieved three 1sts, two 2nds, three 3rds and a certificate of merit. This made Arkle into a champion.

As you can see both dogs have got exceptional pedigrees.

Both Arya and Arkle carry yellow and so I am hoping for a mixed litter but a good dog is never a bad colour.

The pups will be home reared and well socialised with my own children. They will be born in a specially adapted indoor whelping area before moving to my purpose-built kennel at approximately five weeks where they will have access to both their indoor sleeping area and an outdoor run. They will be fed on Royal Canin Maxi Starter to give them the best start in life.

Pups will be hereditary clear of PRA, EIC, SD2 and CNM which will save the new owner approximately £150 in tests. They will be available for viewing in person or via Zoom/Facetime etc.

Transport to mainland Great Britain, Republic of Ireland, Europe or North America can be arranged.
Pups will come with:
• KC insurance and microchipped
• A pedigree
• Health check
• 1st vaccination
• Puppy pack
