Topaz our gorgeous KC registered fox red shade of yellow Labrador has given birth to her first litter of 7 strong healthy puppies.

Puppies were born on the 1st May and are thriving, Topaz is doing a brilliant job looking after her babies she’s the most kind affectionate and loving mum with a super chilled temperament.
Topaz lives with us on our farm with our horses and three pony mad children.
Puppies will be raised as part of a diverse household handled daily by adults and children, and be well socialised as they grow getting them used to busy family life and everyday noises.

Topaz is a small compact girl and loves going on walks exploring new places and sights.
She loves to please and is very gentle, always well behaved and a very friendly happy dog.
As our family pet this is very much a planned and wanted litter as we would like to keep a puppy for ourselves.
Topaz has a clean bill of health meeting all KC recommended health checks :-

Topaz has a hip score of 10 and 0 elbows.
Her pedigree is second to none with many field trial champions in her heritage.

Dad is a handsome KC registered fox red shade of yellow Labrador called Archer, typical of his breed in size and stature.
He too has an amazing pedigree with many field trial champions and also has a clean bill of health and clear of :-

Archer has a hip score of 0 and elbow score of 0, the best result you can get.
So puppies will not be effected by any of the above diseases.

As well as all the above health checks puppies have a COI of 6.5% which is also below the breed average - this is vital and so important when pairing a dam and stud.

Our main priority was to ensure puppies have the best start in life with health and temperament being an absolute must !.
Going above and beyond to ensure the right stud was selected for Topaz which is why we made the decision to make the 5 hour round trip to visit Archer who lives in Devon and attends regular shoots.

After a lot of time and research Archer was our first choice in not only health and pedigree but in temperament too, making sure puppies were not only from strong healthy bloodlines but we’re going to make brilliant family pets of which both have been achieved.

As well as mums milk puppies will be complimented with Lactol puppy milk at around 4 weeks and then weaned at 6 weeks ready to leave for there forever homes at approx 8 weeks old.

KC documents, health tests for both mum and dad are available to view along with puppies should you wish to see them.

Puppies are receiving around the clock care with no expense spared and are never left alone.
We want to do our very best in rehoming her baby’s so would prefer no full time workers please.
