Raven is our second munsterlander and one we took a long time looking for. We wanted something very specific in our next munster. We are aware Dill is quite small compared to most males in the breed but we like his size, which is why this time we got a bitch. We also wanted one with the best chance health wise and one that would have good temperament, be trainable but still have that wild side that Dill has. It took a few years to find a litter that was being repeated that had already produced the traits we were looking for.

Raven has done a little showing though we are both a little out of place in the show ring, much more at home being outside, working and training. She did however qualify at Crufts and has placed at all the shows she has entered. We retired at showing after two champ shows, it is not our natural environment!

She has a lot of natural ability with her gundog work. She has now been out working as a picking up dog on a local shoot, mostly duck, though she has also picked pheasant, partridge and woodcock in the field. She can be a little feral at times and control is always fun but she is a natural and loves to do what she is bred to do.

She also loves to canicross. It is something we love to do with our dogs and Raven is no exception. She will happily canicross or bikejor and enjoys both. She isn't quite as bombproof as Dill is because she has a much stronger hunt drive but she does still love to have a job no matter what that is.

Her temperament is amazing, she is so gentle, she loves everyone and is a pleasure to have around. She pulls the most goofy faces and makes us laugh daily. She is also rather needy and feels that she should melt into you for cuddles. She loves being close to you and having all the attention. We really do adore her.
