Being one of our beloved Cashew's puppies, watching Breeze come into the world was a true gift.

As her character formed she seemed bold, yet calm, happy to play with the other puppies but also able to take time out to chill - she was ideal and the day I found her asleep laying on Cashew's head, it was a done deal for her to remain with us.

Breeze came with bounding new energy and this little girl who was 'always ready to do something' kept us on our toes - our little every-ready battery of life. Thankfully she had a calm and very affectionate side too, loving to get close for a cuddle to simply chill - her temperament proven to be very sound around other dogs and family/friend's children, even though she had not grown up with such.

Ultimately Breeze just loved 'to do stuff', always wanting to participate whether training or simply playing and, like her mother, happy to go anywhere and have a go at anything we ask of her. It was a struggle to keep up with her in agility and a little too exciting for her to concentrate but when out in the field, her attention suddenly switched 'on' when asked.

We retired Breeze from breeding after two litters and feel super privileged to have been able to keep a puppy from her second and last litter. Breeze proved to be a super Mummy dog but enjoyed plenty of time activitity time with us on her own too. Breeze was super patient with puppy Keela, she just seemed super happy to have a young dog to play and cuddle up with.

The show ring was never really her pleasure place, the only time she didn't show show any patience was with my faffing around... and that was just fine with us as we saw her enjoy participating in field work so much more and she was simply a super companion as a family dog.

Whilst never taken for granted, we had always hoped Breeze would live on to 15yr plus like her mum Cashew, but sadly aged 11.5 years, Breeze was diagnosed with fluid on the brain and this had sudden and severe debilitating effects, so we very sadly had to say our goodbyes and let her make the journey over the Rainbow Bridge.

Whilst sad to not have been able to enjoy her more senior years, we feel so very privileged to have enjoyed the wonderful years we did have together and her individual love and character will never be forgotten x
