Martini or Tini to her friends was an outgoing traditional light wheaten ridgeback. She bounced into the show ring at the end of 2011 and we finally managed to get her to keep at least one foot on the ground when moving round the ring at 12 months after her bouncy beginnings in the show ring.

We are proud to say that she was placed in puppy & junior at every show attended in large classes & with some stiff competition when the fashion was to breed Ridgebacks as dark red as possible while there were only a handful of light wheatens being campaigned at the time.

Tini was awarded the Reserve Challenge Certificate at 25 months of age by breed specialist Jackie Parker, thus giving her her Stud Book number & qualifying her for Crufts for life. She was awarded her second Reserve Challenge Certificate by respected all rounder judge Frank Kane at the age of 4 - her second time in the ring after having her first litter. Tini was awarded her 1st Challenge Certificate (3 make a UK Champion) at Leeds Champ Show July 2016 under breed specialist Carol Ann Carlton.

Tini lived with my daughter and when my granddaughter was born when she was 8 years old Tini immediately formed a bond with her & they made a great team. After her show career finished she had a new role attending tea parties and playing shop which she was excellent at.
