Rita had a long & healthy life, she was our daughter's shadow & helped her through personal tragedies & health problems at times refusing to leave her for even a walk when she knew she was needed. It was if she knew it was safe to leave her once she had brought our granddaughter home from hospital.

Margarita (Rita) although owned by us lives close by with our daughter and her sister N. Cider (Daiquiri) their pet names were our inspiration to name Rita's puppies after cocktails. Rita is a loving cuddly girl who is spoilt rotten by our daughter. She loves going for walks with her mother & children.

We used Rita's sire on her mother not only for his good looks, movement & his fresh bloodlines but for his generous sweet nature.

Rita was shown for one season as a youngster returning after 5 years in veteran for a couple of club shows. Her critiques from these are below:-

"Darker red wheaten, head of correct proportions, round eye and good earset, balanced angulation, level topline, good infill of chest, good depth and ribbed well back, sufficient bone and good feet and moving very soundly."
