Crufts 2026 Best of Breed winner, Sh Ch Janamorio Northern Arlo, is one of the most successful Spanish Water Dogs currently in the UK, with an impressive record achieved in a relatively short show career. He gained his Show Champion title with multiple CCs, alongside numerous Best of Breed wins, KCGC Gold, water training Level 1, and group placings under a variety of judges.

Arlo is a well-balanced, correct male who shows true breed type, with sound movement, strong construction, and a natural presence in the ring. Always presented in correct coat and condition, he reflects the functional qualities of the breed, with clear natural working ability in both training and practical environments.

He comes from an excellent lineage, with multiple Show Champions behind him, bringing depth of quality and consistency that can be seen both in his own achievements and in his offspring.

At home, Arlo is very much part of the family. He has a kind, affectionate and genuinely friendly nature, making him easy to live with and a pleasure to have around. He is sociable, steady, and adaptable, happy whether out and about or relaxing at home, and is confident without being over the top.

As a proven sire, Arlo is producing quality puppies that not only show good type and sound structure, but also inherit his lovely, easy-going temperament. His offspring are well-rounded and suited to both show homes and active, loving family environments.

Arlo is fully health tested in line with current breed recommendations (details available on request). He is also gonioscopy tested, graded Grade 1, with the examining veterinary ophthalmologist confirming this would previously have been recorded as Grade 0 under the former scheme, and is considered an unaffected result under current Kennel Club guidance.

He is offered at stud to suitable, health-tested long tailed bitches. He is available on a limited basis. All enquiries will be considered, with stud terms available on request.
