Izzy joined our family at 8 weeks old after a two-year wait for the perfect puppy. We formed a wonderful bond with her breeder in Manchester and knew we wanted to wait for a pup from her next litter. That connection has grown into a lifelong friendship and we still meet regularly with her and other owners of Izzy’s extended family.

From a young age, Izzy has enjoyed success in the show ring. She gained her Stud Book number at just 14 months old, qualifying her for Crufts for life. She has shown at Crufts twice, proudly winning 1st place in her class at Crufts 2024. She comes from a fantastic line of Spanish Water Dogs, including multiple show champions, with lineage originating from Ubrique in Spain.

Izzy’s real passion, though, is gundog work. She has incredible drive paired with a sharp, eager mind. In summer 2024 she joined the Spanish Water Dog Team UK at The Game Fair, Blenheim Palace, making breed history by helping win the Minority Breed Challenge alongside two other SWDs, a huge moment for the breed and an achievement we’re incredibly proud of.

At home, Izzy is the heart of our family. She adores children, especially our son. One of her favourite “jobs” is bringing him his shoes, dropping them in front of him, and tapping him until he agrees to play football with her. Typical of the breed, she is headstrong, intelligent, mischievous, affectionate, and full of character.

💛 Her First Litter – 2024 💛
In 2024 Izzy welcomed her first litter of six beautiful, healthy puppies. Each one has grown into an incredible dog with outstanding temperaments, confident, affectionate, clever, and thriving in their new homes. Their families regularly tell us how amazed they are by their pups’ personalities, trainability, and zest for life. We couldn’t be prouder of the little team she produced.

Izzy is the perfect example of a true all-round Spanish Water Dog: hardworking, loyal, gentle with children, and full of joyful spirit.
