Kiko is the definition of a soft, silly, lovable Spanish Water Dog. He’s a bouncy, playful cuddle-monster who would happily spend every hour of the day curled up with his people. His bobtail never stops, it wiggles so fast every morning, or even if we leave the room for 30 seconds and come back in, as if we’ve been gone for a week!

From the moment he joined our family, Kiko took it upon himself to become an unofficial therapy dog for our autistic daughter. If she’s upset, he goes straight to her, sits quietly by her side, and stays with her until she’s calm again. Bedtime wouldn’t be complete without him stretched out on her bed for stories. For his instinctive kindness and emotional intelligence, he was awarded Best Companion 2023 by the Spanish Water Dog Club, a title that fits him perfectly.

Kiko is an incredibly gentle soul with a temperament to die for. He adores people, loves children, and combines his goofy sweetness with a calm, dependable nature that makes him a joy to live with.

He comes from excellent lines:

Kiko is a proven stud dog. He was the sire of Izzy’s beautiful 2024 litter, six outstanding pups who have inherited his softness, his trainability, and his happy-go-lucky charm.
