Labradors have always been central to our family life. Our three sons have grown up with the love and stability of having one or more labradors to enjoy the outdoors with, swim in the sea with and provide them with endless hugs, love and loyalty as they grew up. Now, our eldest son and his wife have their first Labrador, and our youngest son has every intention of becoming a Labrador owner in time.

My Kennel name is dedicated to the labradors we have had the pleasure of owning and caring for to date (2023): Charlie, Ruby, Oscar & Merlin, with the first three letters of my surname starting the kennel name. ELLCROM.

I thought long and hard about breeding, My intention on choosing to breed is twofold:

1) to strive to improve the breed
2) to offer the right owners the opportunity to fall in love with the Labrador breed just as I did and for them to earn the love and loyalty which I know these labradors can and will give.

RUBY :

Ruby had a stunning litter of puppies in Spring 2023. She had 3 boys and 3 girls. She was mated with a fine working line Red Fox shade of yellow Labrador. Ruby carries yellow, and the litter was 5 black and one yellow. We kept Flora, who is a very welcome member of the family. All puppies settled well with their forever families and I am delighted to receive regular updates of their progress.
Ruby had her second and final litter at the end of April 2024. She had 8 superb puppies, 3 black male pups, 3 black bitches and 2 yellow boys . Once again, we found fabulous homes for all our puppies, and we couldn't resist keeping one of the black girls, Bess. What a beautiful girl she is.

FLORA:

Flora is one of Ruby's first litter. Having had her health checked, we decided to breed from her, knowing she was such a good girl, supporting Ruby when it came to nurturing and guiding Ruby's second litter. Fingers crossed, she will too will prove to be a great Mum, as and when her first litter is due.

Please note, it is important to me to vet carefully the potential new owners of my puppies.
