Skye is daughter of Sere (Ch. Colkeririn Face To The Sun JW ShCM) and Ashten (Ulwazi's Born To Run First at Zushaunna), a breeding that delivered everything I hoped for. Skye has blessed our home with an abundance of joy. She's an absolute beauty and living up to our expectations won Best in Show at the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Great Britain Open Show in June 2023 under esteemed Hound Judge Denise Garrett.

Ch. Kxoxo I'm Old Fashioned for Colkeririn JW

Major joined our home in October 2022, after I struck up communication with his breeder Kati Ketonen of Kxoxo Rhodesian Ridgebacks in Finland, who I had written to, to congratulate her on a superb litter announcement between two fabulous dogs making an exciting and familiar pedigree. The spotlight was quick to find Major in the show ring with him finishing his puppy career as Top Puppy Dog in the UK with notable wins including winning the Puppy Hound Group under Rui Oliveira at Blackpool Championship 2023. He took his first Challenge Certificate from the Junior Class under widely respected Hound Judge Anne McDonald and several Reserve CCs all under Hound experts. His 2nd CC came a few months later under Hound expert Vikki Cook and his 3rd and crowning CC and Best In Show was awarded by Breed Specialist Gillian Mitchelson at the Southern Rhodesian Ridgeback Club Championship Show.

Sere is a 2nd generation Colkeririn breeding. Her mother is Verde (Colkeririn Your Good Elf) and her father is Kamba (Colkeririn's Sunlight - pictured above). Sere was the 8th born girl of 12 happy, healthy puppies, who are all frequently referred to by their respective owners as full of joy! Sere is a UK Champion, gaining her 3 qualifying Challenge Certificates from top hound specialists; Hector Heathcote, Ann Ingram and Zena Thorn-Andrews. She has gone on to win 3 further Challenge Certificates, from Vikki Cook, Breed Specialist Marjon Franke and Diane Stewart Rithchie. She's a Best in Show winner, gaining the highest honour from Mr T Richards at The Bakewell Agricultural and Horticultural Society Show in July 2019. She won Reserve Best in Show at the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Great Britain Open Show in June 2019 under Katherine Herrington. She also holds her Junior Warrant and Show Certificate of Merit titles, and achieved Silver status in the KC Good Citizen Award dog scheme. She has continued her winning ways in her veteran years winning several Best Veteran In Show titles under some truly top class judges. Health tests confirm she's as good on the inside as she is on the outside. Hips: 2:2 and Elbows: 0:0, she's tested for and clear of Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) and JME.

Ashten - Ulwazi's Born To Run First at Zushaunna

Ashten joined our home in March 2020, 3 days before lockdown. He always loved his visits to the farm, so he immediately fitted in and took to life with the Colkeririn pack with great ease. He's a wonderful house dog with a calm, gentle nature. Bred by Sonja Olsen from Kennel Ulwazi in Norway, Ashten carries a magnificent pedigree and is the sire of Skye - Colkeririn The Sun Runhr.
