Megalmar a small hobby kennel was founded in 1992.

We now own and show both Rottweilers and Newfoundlands, we purchased our wonderful Newfoundland in 2010.

We are Kennel Club Accredited Breeders who put the welfare of the dogs we own and breed first and foremost.

My husband and I have owned and been involved in either training or showing Rottweilers since 1985. I am on the committee of the Dorset County Canine Society.
We occasionally breed and produced FIREMOON Chase the Ace (Oscar) and FIREMOON Golden Flame. (Crystal). Oscar has over his life been consistently placed at Championship Shows, has 1 RCC and has won many Best of Breeds at Open Level. Oscar is 11 years of age in April 2012. Crystal gained Best Puppy Bitch at the Rottweiler Club Championship Show in 2003.

We have owned this wonderful breed for over 20 years. All our dogs are kept in the house being a part of our family. When we breed a litter of puppies they are reared in the house until they go to their new homes. Puppies are only sold to kind and knowledgeable owners. I have been in rotts for the last 15 years. My first rott Heidi ( Bevanray French Knickers of Nineglens) is now 11yrs old and has been excellent for my first rott Heidi has done very well in the show ring gaining her stud book number, still going strong now in veteran.
My second rott was Lagan (Reizend Relight My Fire from Nineglens) who sadly die 25th Jan 2009 age 6yrs a wonderful embassor for his breed he was my gently giant and did well in the show ring also gaining his stud book number.

We are a small kennel, only breeding when we have a waiting list. We have owned Rottweilers for about 27 years, and prior to that we owned Standard Poodles and were given our first Rottweiler from a friend.
We have done quite well in the show ring and have achieved five stud book numbers for dogs we have bred. We have exported to Norway for a number of years, the Norwegians love the temperament of my dogs and this is what makes them popular in Norway. I have 5 Norwegian champions and others have done well in Denmark and Sweden.

We are small show and working kennel and our dogs live with us as part of the family. Our breeding program is very strict and lean on best bloodlines available - mostly German. The goal is to produce rottweilers with a hard temperament, sound nerves, good drives, good hips and pleasing to the eye to look at. The perfect combination is to have the temperament to live as family member and still function as very good working dogs. I fell in love with this wonderful breed several years ago and was fortunate to acquire my first Rottweiler, Guardami Moulin Rouge (Martha), from Pauline Lockyer, with whom she is co-owned and who has become a very dear friend. Over the last 5 years Martha has given me so much pleasure and fun and we have learnt together in the Show ring achieving 2RCC's.
