Freehamlet Perfick Piers, another smart brindle with white trim, unlucky to come up against first today. Masculine head and true front, very good topline and underline, lovely smooth shoulder, strong quarters, good turn of stifle and spring of pastern, moved with drive.

James was also 2nd in the Junior Dog Stakes.
