Lexi (dam) is 3 and a half years old and was in training to be my assistance dog as I have PoTs. Then suddenly I was in hospital for 1 year and her training was on hold. She is still great at helping me around the house but we decided then to breed her in order to donate a puppy to the medical detection dogs UK programme.

Lexi is fully health tested

Eyes BVA/ KC/ ISSS eye scheme- unaffected
PLA grade 0
DNA PRA1 - hereditary clear
DNA PRA2- hereditary clear
DNA ICT- hereditary carrier

We chose Paddington as the stud dog as he has sired puppies that have gone into training for guide dogs for the blind, and assistance/therapy dogs. He is beautiful with a lovely golden coat and is such a gentle boy. If you click into his profile you will see more beautiful pictures of him

As you can see, Lexi is a carrier for the ICT gene however as Paddington is clear, there is 0% chance the pups will be effected from this condition.

Medical detection dogs UK have looked into both Lexi and Paddingtons details and want a puppy for their programme, therefore at least one puppy from this litter will be donated to the programme.
